Understanding the differences of timber flooring will help you make an informed decision when purchasing flooring for your home. According to Australian Standard AS 2796 Grades there are 3 grade categories; Select Grade, Medium Feature – Standard Feature Grade & High Feature Grade. The grades relate to the amount of natural & / or mechanical feature found in the flooring. It should be noted however, manufacturers may supply flooring to the own grading rules.
